To meet other people who stutter who can relate to our lives as people who stutter helps us accept our stuttering more than anything else. I serve on the Board of Directors of The National Stuttering Association (NSA - www.westutter.org), which is the largest self-help non-profit organization for people who stutter in the country. The NSA offers several programs which provides the opportunity for people who stutter to meet and interact with other people who stutter at local kids and adult chapter meetings, workshops and annual conferences in which over 600 people who stutter (including kids and teens) attend each year! This year we are celebrating our 33rd Anniversary!

Conferences in recent years have included such keynote speakers as Vice President Joe Biden, Arthur Blank (Owner, Atlanta Falcons), Adrian Peterson (Chicago Bears), Annie Glenn, John Melendez and John Stossel. They all shared truly amazing stories.

To learn more, pls contact us at: www.westutter.org, info@westutter.org or 1-800-937-8888

Cathy OAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2916523112304184483.post-35205914629298816882009-03-08T13:01:00.000-07:002009-03-08T13:01:00.000-07:00as i am reading this i was chuckling to myself rem...as i am reading this i was chuckling to myself remembering many a conversations we have had...you do talk fast but i must too a bit because i always understood you...I am sorry that the kids are having problems but you are a GREAT mother and are patient and loving and they will work through this because of your love for them...don't blame yourselfThe Lemon Familyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15777959839809476632noreply@blogger.com
